Java Developer

- Responsibilities
  
  • Designs software applications using HTML, Javascript, XML, JSP and Java amongst others
  • Develop and code applications according to specifications
  • Test applications (functional, performance and load) according to specifications
  • Understand and work from requirements - use cases, UML diagrams and prototypes
  • Responsible for maintenance and administration of pre-production code environments and production code environments
- Technical Experience and Skills
  
  • 2 - 3 years of development experience using Java and J2EE
  • Ability to translate a client's complex business problem into a technology solution
  • Experience in J2EE Application Servers such as Oracle IAS and IBM WebSphere
  • Experience in J2EE Frameworks such as JSF, Struts, Spring, Hibernate, Ant, JUnit, ADF
  • Adequate experience in Oracle Database
  • SCJP, SCWCD, SCBCD is a must
  • SCJD and SCJEA is a plus
